Following their tradition of technological advancement and innovation, Salomon’s new hydration solution, the Sense Hydro S-Lab Set, literally puts hydration in the palm of your hand.
At the core of the new Sense Hydro S-Lab Set is a soft PVC-free flask that ranges from 150 – 1,000 ml. A thin elastic strap attached to a glove secures the flask in the crux of your hand. A smaller elastic cord loops around the nozzle of the water bottle to minimize bouncing. As the flask begins to empty, the runner is able to simply roll-up the flask and tuck it into the straps so bouncing is never an issue.
The glove portion of the Sense Hydro S-Lab features soft, ventilated fabric that is not only comfortable and cool, but unobtrusive, ensuring that once you hit the trail, you’ll forget it’s there. The backside of the glove features a terry cloth backing ready and willing to keep perspiration out of your eyes so you can focus on the path ahead.
Finally, whether it’s a dripping water bottle or a leaky hydration hose, few things can be more distracting on your run than a leaky hydration system. To help eliminate that distraction, the Sense Hydro S-Lab features a self-sealing nozzle system that eliminates unwanted splatters and spills. Not only does this system let you concentrate on the details of your run, but our crew discovered that with a simple squeeze, it makes a great tool for squirting your running partner when they intentionally cut you off at the bend.
