Video: MTJP| Joshua Tree

Shot in Joshua Tree, over the course of four months, this video is part of a larger video project called “More Than Just Parks.” Taking us inside America’s National Parks, the project is founded in an effort to effect a greater awareness of the treasures that reside within America’s National Parks. The videos remind us of our nation’s wild heritage and restore our appreciation for the wilderness that surrounds us all – even when it can be hard to find.

More than just five minutes of epic footage, the Joshua Tree film breathes new life into John Muir’s words when he said “Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity.”
